Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Abdullah ibn Dinar, from Ibn Umar, who said: We used to avoid much talk and familiarity with our wives in the time of the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, fearing that the Qur'an would come down concerning us. But when the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, died, we spoke freely.
