'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us: Sufyan narrated to us, from 'Abd Allah ibn Dinar, who said: I was with Ibn 'Umar, myself and another man. He called yet another man over, then said: 'You two go back a bit,' for the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade two from conversing privately excluding a third.
