حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ قَالَ وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ قَالَ عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ سَأَلْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ عَنْ الْعُمْرَةِ قَبْلَ الْحَجِّ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ لَا بَأْسَ عَلَى أَحَدٍ يَعْتَمِرُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَحُجَّ قَالَ عِكْرِمَةُ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ اعْتَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَحُجَّ.

Abdullah said: I found in my father's book: Muhammad ibn Bakr narrated to us: Ibn Jurayj informed us: Ikrimah ibn Khalid said: I asked Abdullah ibn Umar about performing umrah before hajj, and Ibn Umar said: There is no harm for anyone who performs umrah before he performs hajj. Ikrimah said: Abdullah said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, performed umrah before he performed hajj.
