حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْعُمَرِيُّ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَخَّصَ لِلنِّسَاءِ أَنْ يُرْخِينَ شِبْرًا فَقُلْنَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِذَنْ تَنْكَشِفَ أَقْدَامُنَا فَقَالَ ذِرَاعًا وَلَا تَزِدْنَ عَلَيْهِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Waki' told us, al-'Umari told us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar, that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, permitted women to let down their garments a hand-span. They said, "O Messenger of God, then our feet will be uncovered." He said, "A forearm's length, and do not add more than that."
