حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ابْنَ ابْنِهِ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ وَاقِدٍ يَا بُنَيَّ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَى مَنْ جَرَّ إِزَارَهُ خُيَلَاءَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Sufyan narrated to us, from Zayd ibn Aslam: he heard Ibn 'Umar say to his grandson 'Abdullah ibn Waqid: "O my son, I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: 'Allah, Mighty and Majestic, will not look at one who trails his lower garment out of pride.'"
