Abdullah said: I read to my father: Umar ibn Sa'd Abu Dawud told us: Sufyan told us, from Ma'n, from al-Qasim, who said: Abdullah and al-Ash'ath disagreed; one said, "This for ten," and the other said, "This for twenty." He said, "Set a man between me and you." He said, "You be between me and yourself." He said, "I judge according to what the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) judged: when the two parties to a sale disagree and there is no evidence, the word is the word of the seller, or they annul the sale."
