حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ وَاصِلٍ الْأَحْدَبِ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيُّ الذَّنْبِ أَعْظَمُ قَالَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ لِلَّهِ نِدًّا وَهُوَ خَلَقَكَ وَأَنْ تُزَانِيَ بِحَلِيلَةِ جَارِكَ وَأَنْ تَقْتُلَ وَلَدَكَ أَجْلَ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ مَعَكَ أَوْ يَأْكُلَ طَعَامَكَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'ba told us, from Wasil al-Ahdab, from Abu Wa'il, from Abdullah, who said: I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), "Which sin is greatest?" He said, "That you set up a rival to Allah while He created you; that you commit adultery with your neighbor's wife; and that you kill your child for fear that he might eat with you," or "eat your food."
