قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ وَسَمِعَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بِخَسْفٍ قَالَ كُنَّا أَصْحَابَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَعُدُّ الْآيَاتِ بَرَكَةً وَأَنْتُمْ تَعُدُّونَهَا تَخْوِيفًا إِنَّا بَيْنَا نَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَيْسَ مَعَنَا مَاءٌ فَقَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اطْلُبُوا مَنْ مَعَهُ يَعْنِي مَاءً فَفَعَلْنَا فَأُتِيَ بِمَاءٍ فَصَبَّهُ فِي إِنَاءٍ ثُمَّ وَضَعَ كَفَّيْهِ فَجَعَلَ الْمَاءُ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ بَيْنِ أَصَابِعِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ حَيَّ عَلَى الطَّهُورِ الْمُبَارَكِ وَالْبَرَكَةُ مِنْ اللَّهِ فَمَلَأْتُ بَطْنِي مِنْهُ وَاسْتَسْقَى النَّاسُ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَدْ كُنَّا نَسْمَعُ تَسْبِيحَ الطَّعَامِ وَهُوَ يُؤْكَلُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Al-Walid ibn al-Qasim ibn al-Walid told us: Isra'il told us, from Mansur, from Ibrahim, from Alqamah, from Abdullah, who heard of a landslide, and said: "We, the Companions of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), used to count such signs as a blessing, while you count them as a source of fear. We were once with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and had no water with us, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to us, 'Look for whoever has water with him' — meaning water. So we did, and water was brought, and he poured it into a vessel, then placed his hands in it, and the water began to flow out from between his fingers. Then he said, 'Come to the blessed purification water, and the blessing is from Allah.' So I filled my stomach from it, and the people drank their fill." Abdullah said, "We used to hear the food glorifying Allah while it was being eaten."
