وَإِنَّ مُحَمَّدًا صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَلَا أُنَبِّئُكُمْ مَا الْعَضْهُ قَالَ هِيَ النَّمِيمَةُ الْقَالَةُ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Cover the vessels, tie the waterskins, close the doors, and extinguish the lamps, for the Shaytan does not open a tied waterskin, does not open a closed door, and does not uncover a covered vessel. And if one of you cannot find anything except a stick to place across his vessel while mentioning the name of Allah, let him do so. The mouse can set fire to a house with its inhabitants in it.'
