حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا بَشِيرُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ كَانَ يَنْزِلُ فِي مَسْجِدِ الْمَطْمُورَةِ عَنْ سَيَّارٍ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ أَصَابَتْهُ فَاقَةٌ فَأَنْزَلَهَا بِالنَّاسِ لَمْ تُسَدَّ فَاقَتُهُ وَمَنْ أَنْزَلَهَا بِاللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَوْشَكَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِالْغِنَى إِمَّا أَجَلٌ عَاجِلٌ أَوْ غِنًى عَاجِلٌ.

Abu Ahmad al-Zubayri told us, Bashir ibn Salman - who used to lodge in the mosque of al-Matmurah - told us, from Sayyar Abu Hamzah, from Tariq ibn Shihab, from Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever is afflicted with need and brings it down to people, his need will not be met; but whoever brings it down to Allah, Mighty and Majestic, Allah will soon grant him sufficiency, either through an early death or through early sufficiency."
