حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ رِبْعِيٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ صَاحِبَكُمْ خَلِيلُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.

Mu'awiyah ibn Hisham told us, Sufyan told us, from Abd al-Malik ibn Umayr, from Khalid ibn Rib'i, from Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, your companion is the close friend of Allah, Mighty and Majestic."
