Abu Mu'awiyah told us: al-A'mash told us, from Shaqiq, from Abdullah, who said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, distributed a distribution one day." He said: "A man from the Ansar said: 'This is indeed a distribution in which the Face of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, was not intended.'" He said: "So I said: 'O enemy of Allah, I shall surely inform the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, of what you said.'" He said: "So that was mentioned to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and his face reddened." He said: "Then he said: 'May Allah have mercy upon Musa; he was harmed with more than this, yet he was patient.'"
