حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ ضَمْرَةَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْ نِسَائِهِمْ وَكَانَتْ قَدْ صَلَّتْ الْقِبْلَتَيْنِ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ اخْتَضِبِي تَتْرُكُ إِحْدَاكُنَّ الْخِضَابَ حَتَّى تَكُونَ يَدُهَا كَيَدِ الرَّجُلِ قَالَتْ فَمَا تَرَكَتْ الْخِضَابَ حَتَّى لَقِيَتْ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى وَإِنْ كَانَتْ لَتَخْتَضِبُ وَهِيَ بِنْتُ ثَمَانِينَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Ishaq informed us, from Damrah ibn Sa'id, from his grandmother, from a woman of their women who had prayed facing both qiblahs with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). She said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered upon me and said: "Apply henna. One of you leaves off henna until her hand looks like a man's hand." She said: She never stopped applying henna until she met Allah the Exalted, and she would apply henna even when she was eighty years old.
