Abu Nu'aym told us, he said: al-Walid told us, he said: My grandmother told me, from Umm Waraqah bint Abdullah ibn al-Harith al-Ansari — and she had memorized the Qur'an — that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had commanded her to lead the people of her household in prayer, and she had a caller to prayer, and she used to lead the people of her household in prayer.
