حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الطَّوِيلُ صَاحِبُ الْمَصَاحِفِ أَنَّ كِلَابَ بْنَ تَلِيدٍ أَخَا بَنِي سَعْدِ بْنِ لَيْثٍ أَنَّهُ بَيْنَا هُوَ جَالِسٌ مَعَ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ جَاءَهُ رَسُولُ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ يَقُولُ إِنَّ ابْنَ خَالَتِكَ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكَ السَّلَامَ وَيَقُولُ أَخْبِرْنِي كَيْفَ الْحَدِيثُ الَّذِي كُنْتَ حَدَّثْتَنِي عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عُمَيْسٍ فَقَالَ سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ أَخْبِرْهُ أَنَّ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتَ عُمَيْسٍ أَخْبَرَتْنِي أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا يَصْبِرُ عَلَى لَأْوَاءِ الْمَدِينَةِ وَشِدَّتِهَا أَحَدٌ إِلَّا كُنْتُ لَهُ شَفِيعًا أَوْ شَهِيدًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ya'qub narrated to us, he said: My father narrated to me, from al-Walid ibn Kathir, he said: 'Abdullah ibn Muslim al-Tawil, the copyist of Qur'anic manuscripts, narrated to me, that Kilab ibn Talid, a brother of Banu Sa'd ibn Layth, while sitting with Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab, a messenger of Nafi' ibn Jubayr ibn Mut'im ibn 'Adi came to him saying: Your maternal cousin sends you greetings and asks: Inform me how goes the hadith that you narrated to me from Asma' bint 'Umays. Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab said: Tell him that Asma' bint 'Umays informed me that she heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: No one endures patiently the hardship and severity of Madinah but I will be an intercessor for him, or a witness for him, on the Day of Resurrection.
