حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ حُذَيْفَةَ عَنْ عَمَّتِهِ فَاطِمَةَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ أَتَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَعُودُهُ فِي نِسَاءٍ فَإِذَا سِقَاءٌ مُعَلَّقٌ نَحْوَهُ يَقْطُرُ مَاؤُهُ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ شِدَّةِ مَا يَجِدُ مِنْ حَرِّ الْحُمَّى قُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَوْ دَعَوْتَ اللَّهَ فَشَفَاكَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ مِنْ أَشَدِّ النَّاسِ بَلَاءً الْأَنْبِيَاءَ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Husayn, from Abu 'Ubaydah ibn Hudhayfah, from his aunt Fatimah, that she said: We came to visit the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, among a group of women, and there was a waterskin hung near him, its water dripping onto him from the intensity of the heat of the fever he was suffering. We said: O Messenger of Allah, if only you would pray to Allah to heal you. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Indeed, the most severely tried of people are the prophets, then those nearest to them, then those nearest to them, then those nearest to them.
