حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو ضَمْرَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي يَحْيَى مَوْلَى الْأَسْلَمِيِّينَ عَنْ أُمِّهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَتْنِي أُمُّ بِلَالٍ ابْنَةُ هِلَالٍ عَنْ أَبِيهَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَجُوزُ الْجَذَعُ مِنْ الضَّأْنِ أُضْحِيَّةً.

'Ali ibn Bahr narrated to us: Abu Damrah narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Abi Yahya, the freedman of the Aslamis, narrated to us, from his mother, he said: Umm Bilal bint Hilal informed me, from her father, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: A young lamb of sheep (jadha') is permissible as a sacrifice.
