حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ ذَكْوَانَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ الرُّبَيِّعَ بِنْتَ مُعَوِّذِ ابْنِ عَفْرَاءَ عَنْ صَوْمِ عَاشُورَاءَ فَقَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ مَنْ أَصْبَحَ مِنْكُمْ صَائِمًا قَالَ قَالُوا مِنَّا الصَّائِمُ وَمِنَّا الْمُفْطِرُ قَالَ فَأَتِمُّوا بَقِيَّةَ يَوْمِكُمْ وَأَرْسِلُوا إِلَى مَنْ حَوْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ فَلْيُتِمُّوا بَقِيَّةَ يَوْمِهِمْ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
'Ali ibn 'Asim narrated to us, he said: Khalid ibn Dhakwan informed us, he said: I asked al-Rubayyi' bint Mu'awwidh ibn 'Afra' about the fast of 'Ashura, and she said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said on the day of 'Ashura: Whoever among you has begun the morning fasting - he said: They said: Among us are those fasting and those not fasting - he said: Then complete the rest of your day, and send word to those around Madinah that they should complete the rest of their day (in fasting).
