حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ بَابٍ عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُمَرَ خَتَنٌ كَانَ لِعَطَاءٍ أَخْرَجَتْ لَنَا أَسْمَاءُ جُبَّةً مَزْرُورَةً بِدِيبَاجٍ قَالَتْ قَدْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا لَقِيَ الْحَرْبَ لَبِسَ هَذِهِ.

Nasr ibn Bab narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from Abu 'Umar, the son-in-law of 'Ata', he said: Asma' brought out to us a cloak fastened with brocade buttons, and said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to wear this when he met the enemy in battle.
