حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ سَالِمٍ أَبُو النَّضْرِ عَنْ عُمَيْرٍ مَوْلَى أُمِّ الْفَضْلِ عَنْ أُمِّ الْفَضْلِ أَنَّهُمْ تَمَارَوْا فِي صَوْمِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ فَبَعَثَتْ إِلَيْهِ بِقَدَحٍ فِيهِ لَبَنٌ فَشَرِبَهُ.

Abd al-Rahman told us: Sufyan told us, from Salim Abu al-Nadr, from Umayr the freedman of Umm al-Fadl, from Umm al-Fadl, that they disputed about the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) fasting on the Day of Arafah, so she sent him a cup containing milk, and he drank it.
