حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ وَبَهْزٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَطَاءٌ الْخُرَاسَانِيُّ عَنْ لُبَابَةَ أُمِّ الْفَضْلِ أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تُرْضِعُ الْحَسَنَ أَوْ الْحُسَيْنَ قَالَتْ فَجَاءَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاضْطَجَعَ فِي مَكَانٍ مَرْشُوشٍ فَوَضَعَهُ عَلَى بَطْنِهِ فَبَالَ عَلَى بَطْنِهِ فَرَأَيْتُ الْبَوْلَ يَسِيلُ عَلَى بَطْنِهِ فَقُمْتُ إِلَى قِرْبَةٍ لِأَصُبَّهَا عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا أُمَّ الْفَضْلِ إِنَّ بَوْلَ الْغُلَامِ يُصَبُّ عَلَيْهِ الْمَاءُ وَبَوْلُ الْجَارِيَةِ يُغْسَلُ وَقَالَ بَهْزٌ غُسْلًا حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ قَالَ حُمَيْدٌ كَانَ عَطَاءٌ يَرْوِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَطَاءٍ عَنْ لُبَابَةَ.

'Affan and Bahz told us, they said: Hammad bin Salamah told us: 'Ata' al-Khurasani informed us, from Lubabah Umm al-Fadl, that she was nursing al-Hasan or al-Husayn. She said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came and lay down in a sprinkled place, and put him on his stomach, and the child urinated on his stomach. I saw the urine flowing on his stomach, so I got up to a waterskin to pour it over him, but the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "O Umm al-Fadl, the urine of a boy is to have water poured over it, and the urine of a girl is to be washed" - Bahz said: "washed thoroughly." 'Affan told us: Hammad told us: Humayd said: 'Ata' used to narrate it from Abu 'Ata', from Lubabah.
