حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ قِرَاءَةَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَتْ فَوَصَفَتْ { بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ } حَرْفًا حَرْفًا قِرَاءَةً بَطِيئَةً قَطَّعَ عَفَّانُ قِرَاءَتَهُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Affan told us: Hammam told us: Ibn Jurayj told us, from Ibn Abi Mulaykah, from Umm Salamah, that the recitation of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was such - and she described "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful" letter by letter, a slow recitation. Affan broke up his recitation to demonstrate this.
