حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ ضَبَّةَ بْنِ مُحْصِنٍ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ سَيَكُونُ أُمَرَاءُ يَعْرِفُونَ وَيُنْكِرُونَ فَمَنْ عَرَفَ بَرِئَ وَمَنْ أَنْكَرَ سَلِمَ وَلَكِنْ مَنْ رَضِيَ وَتَابَعَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَفَلَا نُقَاتِلُ مَجَارَّهُمْ قَالَ لَا مَا صَلَّوْا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Affan told us: Hammam told us: Qatadah told us, from al-Hasan, from Dabbah b. Muhsin, from Umm Salamah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "There will be rulers whom you will recognize and whom you will reject; whoever recognizes the wrong is absolved, and whoever rejects it is safe, but as for one who approves and follows..." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, shall we not fight them?" He said: "No, so long as they pray."
