حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ قَالَ دَخَلَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ فَقَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ مِنْ أَصْحَابِي لَمَنْ لَا يَرَانِي بَعْدَ أَنْ أَمُوتَ أَبَدًا قَالَ فَخَرَجَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ مِنْ عِنْدِهَا مَذْعُورًا حَتَّى دَخَلَ عَلَى عُمَرَ فَقَالَ لَهُ اسْمَعْ مَا تَقُولُ أُمُّكَ فَقَامَ عُمَرُ حَتَّى أَتَاهَا فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا فَسَأَلَهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ أَنْشُدُكِ بِاللَّهِ أَمِنْهُمْ أَنَا فَقَالَتْ لَا وَلَنْ أُبَرِّئَ بَعْدَكَ أَحَدًا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Narrated to us by Hajjaj, who said: Sharik narrated to us, from 'Asim, from Abu Wa'il, from Masruq, who said: "Abd al-Rahman went in to see Umm Salamah, and she said: 'I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Among my Companions there is indeed one who will never see me again after I die."'" He said: "So Abd al-Rahman left her presence terrified, until he went in to see Umar and said to him, 'Listen to what your mother is saying.'" He said: "So Umar got up until he came to her, went in to her, and asked her, then said, 'I adjure you by Allah, am I one of them?'" She said: "No, and I will never absolve anyone else after you."
