حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَزِيدٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَنَّ نَبْهَانَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَتْهُ قَالَتْ كُنْتُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَيْمُونَةُ فَأَقْبَلَ ابْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ حَتَّى دَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ وَذَلِكَ بَعْدَ أَنْ أَمَرَنَا بِالْحِجَابِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ احْتَجِبَا مِنْهُ فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلَيْسَ أَعْمَى لَا يُبْصِرُنَا وَلَا يَعْرِفُنَا قَالَ أَفَعَمْيَاوَانِ أَنْتُمَا لَسْتُمَا تُبْصِرَانِهِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
'Abd al-Rahman b. Mahdi told us, 'Abdullah b. al-Mubarak told us, from Yunus b. Yazid, from al-Zuhri, that Nabhan told him that Umm Salamah told him: I was with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), along with Maymunah, when Ibn Umm Maktum came and entered upon him - and this was after we had been commanded to observe the veil. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Veil yourselves from him." We said, "O Messenger of Allah, is he not blind - he cannot see us or recognize us?" He said, "Are you two blind? Do you not see him?"
