Hasan ibn Musa told us: Hammad ibn Salamah told us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, from his father, from al-Hasan ibn al-Hasan, from Fatimah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came in to me and ate a piece of meat on the bone. Then Bilal came with the call to prayer, and he stood up to pray, so I took hold of his garment and said, "O father, will you not perform ablution?" He said, "Why should I perform ablution, my little daughter?" I said, "Because of what the fire has touched." He said to me, "Is not the best of your food that which the fire has touched?"
