Ziyad ibn Abdullah told us: Mansur told us, from Ibrahim, from al-Aswad, who said: I asked Aisha what the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade steeping drink in. She said: He forbade the gourd vessel and the pitch-lined vessel. He said: I said, "What about the hollowed-wood vessels?" She said: I only tell you what I have heard, and I do not tell you what I have not heard.
