حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الطُّفَيْلِ الْبَكَّائِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يِسَافٍ عَنْ فَرْوَةَ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ حَدِّثِينِي بِشَيْءٍ كَانَ يَدْعُو بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُكْثِرُ أَنْ يَدْعُوَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمَنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ziyad ibn Abdullah ibn al-Tufayl al-Bakka'i told us: Mansur told us, from Hilal ibn Yisaf, from Farwah ibn Nawfal, who said: I said, "O Mother of the Believers, tell me something the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to supplicate with." She said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used often to supplicate: O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done and from the evil of what I have not done.
