الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ya'qub told us: My father told us, from Ibn Ishaq, who said: Muhammad ibn Ja'far ibn al-Zubayr told me, from Urwah ibn al-Zubayr, from Aisha, Mother of the Believers, who said: None of their women was killed except one woman. She said: By Allah, she was with me, talking to me, laughing heartily, while the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was killing their men in the marketplace, when a caller called out her name, "Where is so-and-so?" She said, "Here I am, by Allah." I said, "Woe to you, what is wrong with you?" She said, "I am to be killed." I said, "Why?" She said, "Because of something I did." Then she was taken away and her neck was struck. Aisha used to say: By Allah, I will never forget my amazement at how good-natured she was and how much she laughed, even though she knew she was to be killed.
