حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ يَعْنِي أَبَا الْعَلَاءِ الْقَصَّابَ عَنْ أَبِي هَاشِمٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي جَالِسًا فَإِذَا أَرَادَ الرُّكُوعَ قَامَ فَقَرَأَ قَدْرَ عَشْرِ آيَاتٍ أَوْ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Yazid told us, from Ayyub - meaning Abu al-Ala' al-Qassab - from Abu Hashim, from Hisham ibn Urwah, from his father, from Aisha: that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to pray sitting, and when he wanted to bow, he would stand and recite about ten verses, or as much as Allah willed, then bow.
