حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُومُ عَلَى بَابِ حُجْرَتِي وَالْحَبَشَةُ يَلْعَبُونَ بِالْحِرَابِ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتُرُنِي بِرِدَائِهِ لِأَنْظُرَ إِلَى لَعِبِهِمْ مِنْ بَيْنِ أُذُنِهِ وَعَاتِقِهِ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ مِنْ أَجْلِي حَتَّى أَكُونَ أَنَا الَّتِي أَنْصَرِفُ فَاقْدُرُوا قَدْرَ الْجَارِيَةِ الْحَدِيثَةِ السِّنِّ الْحَرِيصَةِ عَلَى اللَّهْوِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abd al-Razzaq told us, Ma'mar told us, from al-Zuhri, from Urwah, from Aishah, who said: "By Allah, I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, standing at the door of my room while the Abyssinians were playing with their spears, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was shielding me with his cloak so that I could watch their play, between his ear and his shoulder. Then he would stand there for my sake until I was the one who left. So estimate the measure of a young girl, eager for amusement."
