حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَنَا دَوُادُ يَعْنِي الْعَطَّارَ حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ عَنْ أُمِّهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ شَبِعَ النَّاسُ مِنْ الْأَسْوَدَيْنِ التَّمْرِ وَالْمَاءِ.

Abu al-Nadr narrated to us: Dawud -- that is, al-Attar -- narrated to us: Mansur narrated to us, from his mother, from Aisha, that she said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, passed away when the people had had their fill of the two black things: dates and water.
