حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ آيَةُ الْخِيَارِ دَعَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا عَائِشَةُ إِنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَذْكُرَ لَكِ أَمْرًا فَلَا تَقْضِينَ فِيهِ شَيْئًا دُونَ أَبَوَيْكِ فَقَالَتْ مَا هُوَ قَالَتْ فَدَعَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَرَأَ عَلَيَّ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ { يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ قُلْ لِأَزْوَاجِكَ } { إِنْ كُنْتُنَّ تُرِدْنَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَالدَّارَ الْآخِرَةَ } الْآيَةَ كُلَّهَا قَالَتْ فَقُلْتُ قَدْ اخْتَرْتُ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ قَالَتْ فَفَرِحَ لِذَلِكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Aisha said: When the verse of choice was revealed, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) called me and said, "O Aisha, I wish to mention something to you, but do not decide anything about it without consulting your parents." She said, "What is it?" She said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) called me and recited to me this verse, "O Prophet, say to your wives..." "If you desire the worldly life and its adornment..." the whole verse. She said: I said, "I have chosen Allah and His Messenger." She said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was pleased at that.
