Aisha said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had two Omani or Qatari garments. Aisha said to him, "These two garments are coarse; you sweat in them and they become heavy on you, and so-and-so has received a shipment of cloth - send to him so that he may sell you two garments on credit until you have the means." He said, "I already know what Muhammad wants - he only wants to take my two garments," meaning he would not pay her back her money. This reached the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he said - the narrator thought he said - "He has lied. They well know that I am the most God-fearing of them," or he said, "the most truthful of them in speech, and the most faithful of them to what is entrusted to them."
