حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَيْرُ أَكْحَالِكُمُ الْإِثْمِدُ عِنْدَ النَّوْمِ يُنْبِتُ الشَّعْرَ وَيَجْلُو الْبَصَرَ وَخَيْرُ ثِيَابِكُمْ الْبَيَاضُ فَالْبَسُوهَا وَكَفِّنُوا فِيهَا مَوْتَاكُمْ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'The best of your kohl is ithmid (antimony); apply it before sleep — it makes the hair grow and clears the eyesight. And the best of your garments are white ones; wear them and shroud your dead in them.'
