حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَدِّدُوا وَقَارِبُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا فَإِنَّهُ لَنْ يُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ أَحَدًا عَمَلُهُ قَالُوا وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ وَلَا أَنَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِي اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ أَحَبَّ الْعَمَلِ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَدْوَمُهُ وَإِنْ قَلَّ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Affan told us: Wuhayb told us: Musa ibn Uqba told us: I heard Abu Salama ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf narrate from Aisha, the wife of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that she used to say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Aim for what is right, come near to it, and rejoice, for no one's deeds alone will admit him into Paradise.' They said: 'Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'Not even me, unless Allah, Mighty and Majestic, envelops me in mercy from Him. And know that the deed most beloved to Allah, Mighty and Majestic, is the one done most consistently, even if it is small.'
