حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ وَهِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَمِعَ أَصْوَاتًا فَقَالَ مَا هَذِهِ الْأَصْوَاتُ قَالُوا النَّخْلُ يُؤَبِّرُونَهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ لَوْ لَمْ يَفْعَلُوا لَصَلُحَ فَلَمْ يُؤَبِّرُوا عَامَئِذٍ فَصَارَ شِيصًا فَذَكَرُوا ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ إِذَا كَانَ شَيْئًا مِنْ أَمْرِ دُنْيَاكُمْ فَشَأْنَكُمْ بِهِ وَإِذَا كَانَ شَيْئًا مِنْ أَمْرِ دِينِكُمْ فَإِلَيَّ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Affan told us: Hammad ibn Salama told us: Thabit informed us, from Anas, and Hisham ibn Urwa, from Urwa, from Aisha, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, heard some voices and said: 'What are these voices?' They said: 'The palm trees, they are pollinating them, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'If they had not done so, it would still have been fine.' So they did not pollinate them that year, and the crop turned out poor. This was mentioned to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, so he said: 'If it is a matter of your worldly affairs, then it is up to you; but if it is a matter of your religion, then it is to me.'
