حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ أَبَا عَمْرٍو مَوْلَى عَائِشَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَكُونُ جُنُبًا فَيُرِيدُ الرُّقَادَ فَيَتَوَضَّأُ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ ثُمَّ يَرْقُدُ.

Musa ibn Dawud told us: Ibn Lahi'ah told us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir: that Abu Amr, client of A'ishah, informed him, from A'ishah, that she informed him that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when he was in a state of sexual impurity and wished to sleep, would perform ablution as for prayer, then sleep.
