حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُبَارَكٌ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ هِشَامِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ عَائِشَةَ فَقُلْتُ يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَخْبِرِينِي بِخُلُقِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ كَانَ خُلُقُهُ الْقُرْآنَ أَمَا تَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ قَوْلَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ { وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَى خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍ } قُلْتُ فَإِنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَتَبَتَّلَ قَالَتْ لَا تَفْعَلْ أَمَا تَقْرَأُ { لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ } فَقَدْ تَزَوَّجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَدْ وُلِدَ لَهُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hashim bin al-Qasim told us, saying Mubarak told us, from al-Hasan, from Sa'd bin Hisham bin Amir, who said: I came to Aisha and said: O Mother of the Believers, tell me about the character of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. She said: His character was the Qur'an. Do you not read the Qur'an, the saying of Allah, Mighty and Majestic: 'And indeed, you are of a great moral character'? I said: I intend to devote myself entirely to worship and forgo marriage. She said: Do not do that. Do you not read: 'There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent example'? The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, did marry, and children were born to him.
