حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ غَيْلَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا رِشْدِينُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ سَرْجِسٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي حَكِيمٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ أَكَلَ بِشِمَالِهِ أَكَلَ مَعَهُ الشَّيْطَانُ وَمَنْ شَرِبَ بِشِمَالِهِ شَرِبَ مَعَهُ الشَّيْطَانُ.

Yahya ibn Ghaylan narrated to us, he said: Rishdin narrated to us, he said: Yazid ibn Abdullah narrated to me, from Musa ibn Sarjis, from Isma'il ibn Abi Hakim, from Urwah ibn al-Zubayr, from Aishah, from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: that he said, "Whoever eats with his left hand, the devil eats with him; and whoever drinks with his left hand, the devil drinks with him."
