حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ أَنْبَأَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ عَنْ بِلَالٍ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ وَالْخِمَارِ.

Ibn Numayr informed us: al-A'mash informed us, from al-Hakam bin Utaybah, from Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Layla, from Ka'b bin Ujrah, from Bilal: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, wipe over the khuffs and the head-covering.
