حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ خَالِدِ بْنِ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ صَاحِبِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهُ اكْتُمِ الْخِطْبَةَ ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأْ فَأَحْسِنْ وُضُوءَكَ وَصَلِّ مَا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَكَ ثُمَّ احْمَدْ رَبَّكَ وَمَجِّدْهُ ثُمَّ قُلْ اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ تَقْدِرُ وَلَا أَقْدِرُ وَتَعْلَمُ وَلَا أَعْلَمُ أَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوبِ فَإِنْ رَأَيْتَ لِي فِي فُلَانَةَ تُسَمِّيهَا بِاسْمِهَا خَيْرًا فِي دِينِي وَدُنْيَايَ وَآخِرَتِي وَإِنْ كَانَ غَيْرُهَا خَيْرًا لِي مِنْهَا فِي دِينِي وَدُنْيَايَ وَآخِرَتِي فَاقْضِ لِي بِهَا أَوْ قَالَ فَاقْدِرْهَا لِي حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي حَيْوَةُ أَنَّ الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ أَخْبَرَهُ فَذَكَرَهُ بِإِسْنَادِهِ وَمَعْنَاهُ مِائَةً وَاثْنَيْ عَشَرَ حَدِيثًا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
It was narrated from Ayyub b. Khalid b. Abi Ayyub al-Ansari, from his father, from his grandfather Abu Ayyub al-Ansari, companion of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to him, "Keep the proposal secret, then perform ablution and do it well, and pray as much as Allah has decreed for you, then praise your Lord and glorify Him, then say: 'O Allah, You have power and I have none, and You know and I do not know, You are the Knower of the unseen. If You see that so-and-so' - naming her - 'is good for me in my religion, my worldly life and my hereafter, then decree her for me,' or, 'then ordain her for me.'"
