حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ حَدَّثَنَا رِبْعِيُّ بْنُ حِرَاشٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ أَنَّهُ أَتَاهُ بِالْمَدَائِنِ فَقَالَ لَهُ حُذَيْفَةُ مَا فَعَلَ قَوْمُكَ قَالَ قُلْتُ عَنْ أَيِّ بَالِهِمْ تَسْأَلُ قَالَ مَنْ خَرَجَ مِنْهُمْ إِلَى هَذَا الرَّجُلِ يَعْنِي عُثْمَانَ قَالَ قُلْتُ فُلَانٌ وَفُلَانٌ وَفُلَانٌ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ خَرَجَ مِنْ الْجَمَاعَةِ وَاسْتَذَلَّ الْإِمَارَةَ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَلَا وَجْهَ لَهُ عِنْدَهُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Bakr narrated to us, Kathir ibn Abi Kathir informed us, Rib'i ibn Hirash narrated to us, from Hudhayfah: that he came to him at al-Mada'in, and Hudhayfah said to him: What have your people done? He said: I said: About which of their affairs are you asking? He said: Those who went out from among them to this man — meaning Uthman. I said: So-and-so, and so-and-so, and so-and-so. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: Whoever departs from the community and holds authority in contempt will meet Allah, Mighty and Majestic, with no argument in his favor before Him.
