حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنِ الْأَشْعَثِ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ عَنْ ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ زَهْدَمٍ الْيَرْبُوعِيِّ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْعَاصِ بِطَبَرِسْتَانَ فَقَالَ أَيُّكُمْ يَحْفَظُ صَلَاةَ الْخَوْفِ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ أَمَّنَا فَقُمْنَا صَفًّا خَلْفَهُ وَصَفًّا مُوَازِيَ الْعَدُوِّ فَصَلَّى بِالَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُ رَكْعَةً ثُمَّ ذَهَبُوا إِلَى مَصَافِّ أُولَئِكَ وَجَاءَ أُولَئِكَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
It was narrated to us by Abdur-Rahman ibn Mahdi, from Sufyan, from al-Ash'ath, from al-Aswad ibn Hilal, from Tha'labah ibn Zahdam al-Yarbu'i, who said: We were with Sa'id ibn al-'As at Tabaristan, and he said, "Which of you remembers the prayer of fear performed with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him?" Hudhayfah said: "He led us in prayer; we stood in a row behind him and a row facing the enemy. He led those nearest him in one rak'ah, then they went to the ranks of the others, and the others came and he led them in one rak'ah, then he gave the salutation of peace upon them."
