حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَرْوَانَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَنْظَلَةَ قَالَ قَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ وَاللَّهِ لَا تَدَعُ مُضَرُ عَبْدًا لِلَّهِ مُؤْمِنًا إِلَّا فَتَنُوهُ أَوْ قَتَلُوهُ أَوْ يَضْرِبُهُمْ اللَّهُ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ حَتَّى لَا يَمْنَعُوا ذَنَبَ تَلْعَةٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ أَتَقُولُ هَذَا يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ وَأَنْتَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ مُضَرَ قَالَ لَا أَقُولُ إِلَّا مَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
It was narrated to us by Ibn Numayr, who said: It was narrated to us by al-A'mash, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Tharwan, from Amr ibn Handhalah, who said: Hudhayfah said: "By Allah, Mudar will not leave a believing servant of Allah except that they will persecute him or kill him, or Allah, the angels, and the believers will strike them until they cannot even hold back the tail-end of a small valley." A man said to him: "Do you say this, O Abdullah, when you are a man from Mudar?" He said: "I only say what the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said."
