حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ زَائِدَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ اقْتَدُوا بِاللَّذَيْنِ مِنْ بَعْدِي أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ.

Sufyan b. 'Uyaynah told us, from Za'idah, from 'Abd al-Malik b. 'Umayr, from Rib'i b. Hirash, from Hudhayfah: that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Follow the example of the two who come after me: Abu Bakr and 'Umar."
