حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَاهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَتْنِي جَدَّتِي قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَوْ اسْتُعْمِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ عَبْدٌ يَقُودُكُمْ بِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ فَاسْمَعُوا لَهُ وَأَطِيعُوا.

Yahya b. Sa'id told us, from Shu'bah - Yahya b. Husayn b. 'Urwah told it to us, he said: My grandmother told me, she said: I heard the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "If a slave were appointed over you to lead you by the Book of God, then listen to him and obey."
