حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ وَهُوَ أَبُو سِنَانٍ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ مَنْ دَعَا لِلْجَمَلِ الْأَحْمَرِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا وَجَدْتَ إِنَّمَا بُنِيَتْ الْمَسَاجِدُ لِمَا بُنِيَتْ لَهُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Waki' told us: Sa'id ibn Sinan, that is Abu Sinan, told us, from Alqamah ibn Marthad, from Sulayman ibn Buraydah, from his father, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was praying when a man stood up and said: Who has called out for the red camel? The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: May you not find it! These mosques were built only for the purpose for which they were built.
