حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا ضِرَارٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُرَّةَ أَبُو سِنَانٍ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ عَنْ مُحَارِبِ بْنِ دِثَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ عِشْرُونَ وَمِائَةُ صَفٍّ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ ثَمَانُونَ صَفًّا قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ مَاتَ بِشْرُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ وَأَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ وَالْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ خَارِجَةَ فِي سَنَةِ سَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ.

Abd al-Samad told us: Abd al-Aziz ibn Muslim told us: Dirar, that is Ibn Murrah, Abu Sinan al-Shaybani, told us, from Muharib ibn Dithar, from Ibn Buraydah, from his father: that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The people of Paradise will be in one hundred and twenty ranks; this nation makes up eighty of those ranks. Abu Abd al-Rahman said: Bishr ibn al-Harith, Abu al-Ahwas, and al-Haytham ibn Kharijah died in the year twenty-seven.
