حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أُحِبُّ الْخَيْلَ فَفِي الْجَنَّةِ خَيْلٌ قَالَ إِنْ يُدْخِلْكَ اللَّهُ الْجَنَّةَ فَلَا تَشَاءُ أَنْ تَرْكَبَ فَرَسًا مِنْ يَاقُوتَةٍ حَمْرَاءَ تَطِيرُ بِكَ فِي أَيِّ الْجَنَّةِ شِئْتَ إِلَّا رَكِبْتَ وَأَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ آخَرُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَفِي الْجَنَّةِ إِبِلٌ قَالَ يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ إِنْ يُدْخِلْكَ اللَّهُ الْجَنَّةَ كَانَ لَكَ فِيهَا مَا اشْتَهَتْ نَفْسُكَ وَلَذَّتْ عَيْنُكَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yazid told us: al-Mas'udi told us, from Alqamah ibn Marthad, from Ibn Buraydah, from his father, who said: A man came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: O Messenger of Allah, I love horses - will there be horses in Paradise? He said: If Allah admits you to Paradise, you will not wish to ride a horse of red ruby that flies with you wherever you wish in Paradise, but you will ride it. Then another man came to him and said: O Messenger of Allah, will there be camels in Paradise? He said: O servant of Allah, if Allah admits you to Paradise, you will have in it whatever your soul desires and whatever delights your eye.
